Filipino fast-food chain Binalot said it will continue to distribute free meals to hospitals and medical facilities in Metro Manila for health-care workers serving as frontliners in the country’s fight against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
The company said it has sent free food to frontliners since the enhanced community quarantine was implemented in Luzon last March 17.
“For these modern-day heroes [frontliners], Binalot can do no less,” Binalot Operations Manager Judee Morente said in a statement.
