With the announcement last March 17 of the enhanced community quarantine, Metro Manila and Luzon-wide restaurants have had to reassess whether they should remain open or not, given the many operational challenges (staff and customer safety, limited delivery capability, reliability of supplies) they must face. In fact, most restaurants in the metro have decided to temporarily close.
But Luzon residents still need to be fed, especially those with limited options for cooking at home. While most major fast food and pizza chains (Jollibee, McDonald’s, Chowking, KFC, Greenwich) remain open, here are a few more that have so far declared open for takeout and delivery:
