Despite having all the big boys like Jollibee, McDonald’s, KFC, Chowking and Greenwich, increase their prices at the start of this month, Binalot has decided, instead, to “stay true to its mission of giving the best value to its customers,” and in the process, has absorbed the rising raw material prices to shield its customers from further backbreaking price increase.
Binalot recently launched twin moves to help Filipinos cope with the present crisis. The first was Going Giniling, a budget-friendly line of four delicious meals at PhP 39 each. This new menu has proven to be a great hit with the price-sensitive market. Next, Binalot immediately came up with the Less Rice, Less Price Promo, offering a way of contributing a solution to our country’s national rice shortage concern. Binalot now gives its customers the option to order half rice at a big discount.
Binalot General Manager, Basil Soriao, says, “Initially, we were tempted to follow the lead of the bigger fast food chains, but we decided to stick to our mission. We have always been dedicated to giving our customers more value. A Pinoyvorite meal costs less than a one-piece chicken meal, but it comes with a generous amount of a tasty viand, salted egg and a tomato.”
