Sept. 29, 2009 saw the grand opening of Binalot Export located at the lower ground floor of the Export Bank Bldg.at the corners of Gil Puyat and Chino Roces Avenue. The celebration was topped by the Tagay mga Katoto ritual saluting the success of another Binalot outlet opening. Fun fair was added to the festivities with the first store appearance of Mang Bina, the official mascot of Binalot who requests the good natured Filipino wearing traditional Filipino hand crafted hat called “Salakot.”
The outlet is owned and operated by Napoleon Casibang. The ribbon ceremony was officiated by Fr. Bart Bacsal.
